Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)
I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Encrypt and Make .EXE File

Is it possible to both Encrypt and Make .EXE File with PowerArchiver?
The beauty of PowerArchiver Self-Extractor is that the person receiving the file, via Email attachment, need not have PowerArchiver or some other archive program in order to open the file. However, if there’s sensitive data in the file, one needs to have the file Encrypted.
I suppose this is a request for a Make Encrypted .EXE File feature, unless it already exists.

I would also like to see the ability to make encrypted exe files.

I support this idea ;)

this is a great idea but a plugin sfx program would be better so you can update this program when you need to and it would not slow development of pa down by much. Other programs have this feature. I would be prepared to pay for a sfx program if it could intergrate into pa like sfx maker used to.

Yeah, a “make encrypted exe” feature would be cool. :)

I suggested a self-extracting encrypted file since version 8.
More than one year ago. :(
Anyway, it will be a great feature!

Yes, I would think that this is a definite “must have.”
